When Perfection Rivers came to Good Life in 2014, she was struggling socially and financially and in her words felt she was “at a stand still”. Through a referral from a friend, she sought out the mentoring of the GLYF and learned about life and entrepreneurship. Perfection then went on to start “Perfect Pictures,” a video and photography company that not only helped to sustain her financially, but help boost her self-esteem and confidence.
Perfection says “I think my confidence level has increased and just knowing that I have a voice and can make a difference is the thing.”
Since her connection with Good Life, she has been presented with opportunities to use her inner talents and do photography with major artists and celebrities in various places and states. Some of the artists she has filmed and shot are Waka Flaka, Jaqueese, 21 Savage Tory Lanez, Bryson Tiller, Post Malone (also a Syracuse Native) and Fetty Wap.
Perfection has seen success and continues to grow. She recently moved to Atlanta Ga, for the opportunities presented there. She now has travels back and forth from Atlanta to Syracuse and has seen a 75% growth in her business and is now self-sustainable. We are proud of her and look forward to her future success and growth!
