Making Noise Using Hip-Hop Culture
In notoriously poor Syracuse, New York, home to the highest concentration of poverty among African Americans and Latinos, the streets can be a means of survival for teens.
The struggle is real. But, so is a movement to make the change; to remix unpleasant statistics no one wants to talk about.
The Good Life Youth Foundation is making noise using hip-hop culture as its stage to reach these at-risk youth.
